The Urban Intelligence team worked through Purdon with the Ginninderry development team to progressively develop insights into the rating revenue required to deliver local-like services in the NSW ‘Parkwood’ component of a cross-border estate development. This project extended rudimentary modelling from 2019.
Working with the JV team and Yass Valley Council Executive we compiled an extensive array of benchmarks, updated 2019 modelling with more recent estate development yield scenarios, and developed more advanced fiscal modelling to estimate long run potential rating income and opex and capex scenarios.
The results underpin negotiations with the ACT and NSW Government on rating levels in Parkwood.
