The ACT recently updated its Development Application statistics for September.
71 DAs were lodged. This is down by 5 compared with the monthly long run average, but up by 11 from August.
Year to data DAs are tracking at 24% of the average annual since 2019-20. Separate house DAs still lead.
In September the average DA duration declined slightly to 63 days (median 35), however this is 12 days above the average since the start of the 2023 Planning Act.
Be careful in reading these, DAs are not Building Approvals or Completions. Those statistics come from the ABS, and will be updated later in November.
